This oven is very basic, as far as ovens go, but exactly what I wanted. My previous oven had convection, but I rarely used, therefore; the benefit of getting another oven with convection, when we did our kitchen remodel, wasn't a priority. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I'm giving this review after having only used once, so can't speak to it's longevity ;)

looked for a more basic model like this, because just tired of all the bells and whistles of computers. This is just right. Quiet, very nice looking, and all perfectly functional. Also like having a solid name brand like Frigidaire, nice to feel confident with such a great reputation

The size of this oven is fantastic. My pro cookie sheets fit side by side! The oven works perfectly. Yes there is a fan that runs when the oven is on and cooling down but it is a faint noise and NBD. I love being able to slide heavy pots from burner to burner without having to lift them. When installed the oven wouldn™™t slide all the way back to the wall because the gas pipe from the wall stuck up too high. Called a plumber who easily turned the pipe so the stove could slide back. I looked for months for the right oven/stove. I™™m very happy with my choice. You will be too.

I replaced my old gas range that wasn't accurate in heating that came with the house we bought a year ago. This new gas range was a huge improvement since I am one that really cooks many different types of cusines. I love the low simmer setting. I like the grill arrangement and the 5 burners. I also like looks of the stovetop not having a raised back for controls . Another feature is it simplicity. The oven controls are easy to use and intuitive. The only slight negative is that the steel seems not as thick/sturdy as older ranges, it fells lighter weight. But that hasn't caused any problems.

This gas oven stove combo has been great, it is easy to clean with all grates easily coming off. Very quick to pre-heat and all my baked goods have been coming out to perfection!

Well the burners work very well however the dots on the knobs that tell you which burner will light is a little confusing. Now the oven. In 3 different uses it don not cook properly. We finally called for warranty service and the technician is going to replace some parts due to the oven not being able to maintain the temperature accurately. Also as the oven is warming up I hear noises like metal expanding which I™™ve never heard from any oven before. So the jury is out on this Range until repairs are completed and temperature regulation is working properly. I hope we didn™™t get a lemon.

No exaggeration. Made a poof sound when igniting from day one. Figured it was normal for this range. Funtioned like this for 11 months until FIRE shot out from under the lower drawer. Service guy showed me that the burner arrived dislodged from igniter coupling and that year of functioning like this left a scorch mark on my wood floor under the oven. We used this oven daily for months... it could have burnt our entire house down and killed my entire family at any time.

First. Time I used oven it had a delayed ignition which emitted carbon monoxide . I had a CM detector that saved my life. Gas Co. recommended getting different range and not repairing this one only one month old.

Overall this appliance has work well for us. I™™ve used the self cleaning once and learned it makes the house an oven with the heat it expels in use. Also we had to open the windows and doors due to the overbearing toxic smell it makes. This doesn™™t feel like a safe side effect for self cleaning oven.

Let me start by saying that this range cooks and bakes very well. The door on my range will not stay open. This is very dangerous when you™™re taking hot food out of the oven. Frigidaire sent out a repairman who replaced the hinges. This did not fix the problem. Frigidaire sent out a second repairman who has ordered another set of hinges to see if he can fix the door. This has been going on for almost a month. Customer service has been very nice to deal with but the problem persists. Also, I wanted the controls on the front of the range however, if you barely touch or lean into them they turn on. Another dangerous issue.

The range is nice for the price, the only concern I have is with the bottom storge drawer. You need to use caution while wiping down I sustained an injury because the stainless steel on the sides are not smooth and you will cut yourself.

I bought this unit after having a nightmare with an upscale competitor's that never worked. Decided to go basic figuring less opportunity for problems. So far, I am really satisfied. it is lovely but returned. this model has the vent on top of the stove, not just the regular vents but one LARGE vent along with the others.. blows the exact temperature back into the room and I burnt my hand on the over the oven microwave trying to open it while oven was running. NOT able to cook , WAY to HOT in kitchen.. had to return

This is my second gas range and it is generally a decent unit. However, the top burners get very hot and only the smallest one can be used for most cooking. The others lack a low enough enough setting to prevent burning.My biggest issue with this is the knobs that control the burners. They do not have any locking mechanism to prevent accidental rotation. This has resulted in us finding the knobs partially turned on several times with no flame. Basically, they are filling the house with gas as they are not burning. This is VERY dangerous and I have had to install a separate gas leak detector to prevent a potential disaster.My advice: Do not buy this range if you have kids, pets, elderly people who are prone to bumping into things. They could feasibly knock the knob(s) into the on position and leave gas pooling around kitchen.

I bought this range think that I was upgrading within the first use there was a strong smell coming of it I thought maybe cause it was new and had to keep using it to remove the smell so I kept using it and every time it would turn it would make a loud sound after 3 uses I called to come check it out and for my surprise that strong smell was gas! The loud sound I kept hearing were little explosions going on! Even after all that dangerous stuff and all the damaged that was done Upon delivery they still refuse to give me a new one witch I paid for I haven™™t been able to use my range for two months! Horrible product horrible customer service!!! Don™™t buy

I BOUGHT THIS A YEAR AGO AND FINALLY HOOKED THE GAS AND ELECTRIC UP AND ONCE FINISHED STARTED THE OVEN TO BURN THE HOUSE DOWN BRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I WAS GOING TO COOK THE NEW OFF BEFORE COOKING AND YOU COULD SMELL THE NEW BURNING AND THEN A BIG FLAME WAS KICKING IT UP THROUGH THE SLITS ON THE SIDES OF THE METAL PAN,KIDS RUNNING AROUND CRYING MOTHER IN LAW SNAGGING HER STASHED MONEY BAG AND ME TELLING NO ONE CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT YET,SO CUT THE GAS LINE OFF IN THE BASEMENT AND RAN BACK AND FILLED A CUP WITH WATER TO PUT IT OUT.......TOOK GRIDS APART TO SEE WHAT A EMPLOYEE LEFT AT THE BURNER SECTION OF OVEN NOTHING WAS THERE BUT ASHES FROM IM THINKING OIL OR WHO KNOWS BUT OTHER THAN THAT ITS A WONDERFUL OVEN BUT NOW NO ONE WANTS TO USE IT UNLESS IM HOME I THINK I NEED A FRIGIDAIRE T-SHIRT AND HAT FOR MY TROUBLES

I love the look of my new range. I like the backless feature. The oven heats up pretty fast. All 5 burners can't be used at once though. I was hoping that middle burner could be used more like a griddle eye but it's too small. The 5th burner is pretty useless, just for looks. The range cooktop is difficult to clean after each use. Most of all, the knobs are extremely easy to turn on. This isn't good with kids or if I'm reaching over the stove and GENTLY press the knob. I'm always paranoid about this little danger.

When we would turn on the oven there would be a strong smell of gas and a loud boom when the gas would ignite. We did this twice and then stopped using it. Service tech came and found that the orifice was bent. He was able to repair but really scared to use it. Not sure how a brand nee unit could come like this.

I hesitated to buy because of some of the negative reviews. I™™m so glad they didn™™t keep me from buying. Delivery was great. Install had a hitch because my gas pipe from my wall stands out and keeps it from sliding all the way back. Easy fix. Call a plumber and have the pipe turned. I love the way you can slide pans across the stove top without lifting them. The grates are not too far away from the flame. The oven is sooo roomy! My pro cookie sheets fit side by side. Buy it. This is the one.

I love my new range! I've only had it one month but so far so good. I love the center burner for sauces and sides when I'm cooking a main dish.The front buttons are a bit touchy so be careful, they turn on easily. I'm already use to them. Cleaning is easy and I love the slick look.
