Not what I was hoping for

i really wanted to love this product! i am listing the things i would want to know before i purchased. the ice machine is slow! it makes 8 cubes of ice 3 times a day. the freezer door does not suction shut then the items in the freezer thaw just a small amount. no alarm sound for this. we've had to throw away a few gallons of milk, we kept it in the door area so we moved it & the problem stopped. dents super easily! the finger prints are ridicoulus! very annoying. i had the fridge all set up & then had to update the software. the picture for inside the fridge only shows items on the 2 shelves right in front of the camera. the water leaks a small amount we always have a stain on the shelf.

this is really reliable fridge, i use it for a year already, never had any problems with the display or fridge itself. it always politely asks to close the door when you keep it open for a long time, reminds you to do service in time and overall good quality of service. a year passed and there was only one error on the screen, error 41, i asked support, they replied very fast and i had only to reboot the display, cos i didn't reboot it for a year. that's it. i am happy with this purchase.

The worst store and worst item

checking the ice dispenser didn't work,towards the ice but it did not dispense this,additionally it continued to make the ice generating a large internal ice rock which split one side of the ice store.dispenser was leaking water, in addition to making a great noise because it was stuck.we notified it and solution was to send a technician to repair. i ask, people buy a new item so that the store sends a technician to him for the problems that he brings from the factory? this doesn't make sense to me.i would not buy at lowe's nothing.samsung since i will never buy anything from this brand again.the only support that the samsung brand gave me was to send a technician to repair the new refrigerator that i had bought.

freezer: the ice maker machine in a complete headache. ice comes out slow. it sprays out ice even when its on "cubed ice". we have to put our cup completely up against the dispenser or ice goes everywhere. theres no light on the dispenser so you have to turn on the kitchen light in the middle of the night. there isn't a tray for the dispenser. so water spills down the fridge. its hard to fill large cups or containers like hydro flasks. the hub says the ice bucket is full all the time but there will be be no ice in the bucket. we've had the ice machine serviced and it still doesn't work. we still only get 8 cubes of a week! we bought this expensive fridge and have had problem after problem with it since may 2020.

i bought this brand new fridge and it wouldnt cool at all or freeze. i had a tech come out and he told me there was zero freon in the system. i spent hours on the phone going back and forth with samsung about getting someone out here to fix or try and get it swapped out. i have been almost 3 weeks without a fridge because parts havent come in. surely this fridge had to be completely inspected before shipping out. needless to say i will not be buying anything from samsung again.

This refrigerator is really good, the style is really nice, the size is perfect, it is very roomy inside. the applications load and run right away, the sound is good (just make sure you remove the plastic that covers the speaker) The freezer is super strong, it froze the meat in less than 1 hr.

I purchase this fridge after having our French Door refrigerator went out. I though I may be losing space with side by side doors but I was mistaken, this fridge is huge inside. The outside features are great too especially when cooking up a recipe. If only I could keep the neighbor kids hands off of it! Family hub is not best option

Bought refrigerator 6/10/20, delivered 6/17/20, family hub is fun and all was great until 9/7/2030 when we woke up to refrigerator and freezer not working. It took 2 days for repair man to come so needless to say all good was loss (I've been told Sumsung will reimburse us for all food lost). The mother board was replaced, but still did not work so they are giving us a new one, but will not pick up this one it's mine to dispose of and we're on day 9 of no refrigerator and freezer. My opinion is I don't need the bells and whistles of the family hub as that is what controls the product, so if it goes down we're out of luck. Not hopeful on replacement.

We bought this fridge for the roomy space inside and the modern look. We didn't expect to use any of the added features, but now that we've owned it for a couple of months, we use a lot of the built-in apps. My favorite is the shopping list, recipes, Pandora, and the food expiration alerts. I also like that i can access the apps through our phones. The water and ice dispenser is also large enough to fit a pitcher. The sound from the speaker sounds excellent. My wife watches youtube videos while cooking. My kid likes to doodle on the writing pad and change pictures on the wallpaper. Another feature we like is the display shows an animated picture that reflects the weather condition outside.

I bought this refrigerator and within a week of having it the screen froze. I did some research and this seems to be a common problem. It was easily fixed by resetting it. Modern but needs improvement in functionality

I love the tablet and inside camera feature. However, the ice maker is too slow and too small to keep up with our family of 3. I wish it was better. I have to keep extra ice on hand because we often run out. Also, I have the inside frig turned up to 39 and I keep loosing vegetables due to them being frozen. I would not buy it again.

Samsung Refrigerator with Family Hub Screen

I am happy with my Samsung family hub refrigerator. I must admit I was lured in by the 'computer screen' on the front. The family hub is a great addition to the door front, and their are different customizable displays. I personally like the recipes, the weather and Spotify and family pictures on my display, but sometimes switch to watching my YouTube vlogs. It has great sound. The only downside I see is that there is no tray under the water/ice dispenser to catch water overspill and ice, but I keep a folded towel below water and ice dispenser and have had no watermark problems. I shouldn't have to do that, but it keeps it water spill free ... hopefully a tray is provided on the next model. I also think an automatic light when dispensing ice and water should be included also. DONT PEEL OFF THE PLASTIC FILM over the screen and controls. Make sure to tell the delivery people! It acts as a screen guard and everything works well with it on there ... just cut off the portion over the speakers. A plastic replacement film is like $25 or more on Amazon. A quick wipe down with an anti-static cloth will keep fingerprints away! 'What's in the fridge' is a cool way of seeing what you need to buy when away from the fridge. Make sure to download the family hub app BEFORE the fridge is delivered so you can see all the features. You can display photos on the front screen ... via the app or a memory stick that inserts at the top of the door inside the fridge. Someone who is not used to gimmicky gadget stuff might have a problem at first, but once set up ... it''s a breeze! We got the two door front (only available online when I got it a few months back). The in-store version had 3 doors - two french doors and a pull out drawer. It took a while to get used to no snack tray drawer, but the shelves are deep and can store a lot more than my old refrigerator. A snack drawer would be a nice addition to the next model. Overall this is a great refrigerator and I would recommend it to all the techies out there! Have fun setting up your customizable family hub screen.

Have downloaded pictures and made album on the TV and works great. Freezer keeps everything very cold! Nice to be able to keep a shopping list right at the refrigerator.

I live that I bought this. More tmroom & I love how it gives ne apps for recipes and I can add my shopping list to my phone. Only negative is no light where the waterice dispenses. Need a light there
